Each helm has a 4 7/16" footprint, 3/4" tapered shaft and nut. To verify which helm you have, simply look at the end of your steering shaft for a 1.7, 2.0 or 2.4 stamping. DO NOT attempt to install an NPT pipe fitting into "-3" helm hose fitting ports. Doing so will lead to irreparable damage to the helm. The manufacturer recommends use of SeaStar Solutions O-ring style hose fittings.
